Erik F. Miller
Erik has been in the Portland-area financial services industry for nearly 25 years. His broad work experience ranges from annuities and group retirement plans to stocks and exchange-traded funds and enables him to comment on many pieces of the retirement puzzle with first-hand knowledge.
Since entering financial planning in 2005, after a positive experience in union benefit plans, Erik has learned that listening and speaking in plain English are key to the client-advisor relationship. No one wins when an advisor flexes their vocabulary. He has been quoted in Think Advisor and Money Magazine and has co-hosted a local Meetup for Investor’s Business Daily readers.
Mr. Miller is a strong believer in fiduciary duty and community involvement. He is active with Boys & Girls Aid, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, the Lori Miller Scholarship Fund, and the West Linn community in which he lives. Personally, Erik enjoys travel, gardening, local music and restaurants, Portland sports, pop culture, investment publications, and his cat, Lucy, when she lets him.
